Position Summary/Job Duties: | We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Household Assistant for weekly apartment upkeep in a 2-bedroom, 1 bath home. We are looking for regular cleaning maintenance to keep our space fresh and manageable—no "white glove" or heavy deep-cleaning required.
We are a mother-daughter household (plus two friendly cats), both managing busy schedules and health considerations, so your weekly help will be deeply appreciated!
Schedule & Compensation:

When: Every Thursday evening for 1.5 hours (e.g., 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM; specific start time can be coordinated).

Pay: $37.50 per week ($25/hour) paid immediately upon completion each Thursday via Venmo, Cash App, or another mutually agreed-upon digital payment method.
Key Responsibilities:

Bedding & Laundry: Strip two beds (one Twin XL and one Twin), put the sheets into our washer/dryer combo and turn it on, and remake both beds using fresh sets of sheets. (No folding required—we handle folding once the cycle is complete).

Bathroom: Clean and sanitize sink, counter, bathtub, and toilet; wipe mirrors.

Kitchen & Dining: Wipe down kitchen countertops, surfaces, sink, and kitchen table.

Floors & Surfaces: Dust surfaces top-to-bottom. Vacuum,Swiffer and mop with cordless mop all floors. (Note: A Roomba runs daily, so floor care is primarily additional maintenance, edges, and catching dust bunnies).

Trash/Recycling: Empty wastebaskets into main bins if needed before leaving.

Other Duties: Other household maintenance as discovered or needed. This will be discussed with you prior to starting a new task(s) before implementation.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Cat Friendly: Must not be allergic to cats and comfortable vacuuming/cleaning cat hair.

Reliable & Consistent: Looking for someone committed to coming regularly each Thursday.

Location & Transit: Located near Mineral Point Rd & Island Dr, about a 4-minute walk from a covered Metro Rapid Route A (BRT) bus stop. Reliable personal transportation or transit use required.

Supplies Provided: All cleaning supplies and equipment are provided on-site—you do not need to bring anything. We will also provide gloves sized specifically to fit your hands.

Before starting, the selected candidate will be required to complete a brief contact form—including full legal address and emergency contact details—and provide a copy or photo of a valid government-issued ID (such as a Driver’s License, State Photo ID, or Passport) for safety, verification, and identification purposes.
