Summer Program: 9 am -3 pm (4-6 hour shifts, 3-5 days/week)

Qualifications:

1. Must love working with kids
2. Must enjoy developing relationships with kids and families

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

1.Assist and/or facilitate recreation, arts and crafts activities with kids K-5
2. Support students in mindfulness and yoga activities (onsite training available)
3. Build positive relationships with children, and foster positive connections between them. Actively engage with kids with the goal of fostering the positive development of each child and the group as a whole.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Job duties include preparing healthy snacks, assisting with mindfulness lessons, supporting kids yoga classes, facilitating arts and crafts projects, and providing supervision and emotional support for students in grades K to 5.

Physical Demands:

Putting up and taking down small furniture, sanitizing surfaces, set up and take down crafts, wash dishes, prepare snacks.
Inspect on a daily basis all facilities, equipment, and supplies and be sure all are accounted for, put away, and cleaned at the end of each day.
Adhere to policies and procedures in a proactive manner, making the safety and care of children your primary focus.
