Department Overview:
Here in the UW–Madison Division of Continuing Studies (DCS), we have assembled a team of creative, innovative and strategic folks that make up our Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) unit, and we are responsible for paving the way for lifelong learning through relevant stories, engaging experiences and thoughtful analysis.

Schedule:
Ideally the candidate could commit to one full workday 6-8hrs, M-F with the other days being more flexible. School always comes first, so we are absolutely flexible with this.

Qualifications:
- Current college student pursuing degree, preferably in Journalism, Strategic Communications, Communication Arts, Marketing or Information Systems - Working knowledge of Google and/or Microsoft Office suites - Experience with WordPress or basic knowledge of HTML or CSS, Adobe creative suite a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
- Understanding of how different backgrounds and lived experiences make us stronger as an organization - Strong time-management and communication skills - Ability to work independently and collaborate with colleagues - and noticing when either is needed
Position Summary/Job Duties:
- Update/edit copy on DCS-managed WordPress websites and/or email campaigns - Ensure web assets are accessible by learning and applying best practices - Ideate and execute multimedia projects with teammates - Perform administrative tasks (like culling unsusbscribes from our email automation tool) delegated by digital team manager - Learn and sharpen marketing data analysis skills with tools like Google Analytics 4, SpyFu and more
