Qualifications:

Must be a current Graduate student
Preference will be given to students in the field of Literature, History, Cultural Studies, Theatre, Art History
Cannot be currently enrolled in the course

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Familiarity with Canvas platform
Ability to provide feedback and maintain confidentiality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Position Summary/Job Duties:

This is an hourly Project Assistant Reader/Grader position to grade writing assignments for AAS271: Afrofuturism and Popular Culture. Grading loads are expected to be more concentrated near due dates of exams and major assignments.

This appointment does not carry any tuition remission or benefits.
