Department Overview:
Centrally located on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, the Chazen Museum of Art is home to the second-largest collection of art in Wisconsin and is the largest collecting museum in the Big 10. Within its 176,000 square feet of museum space is a collection of approximately 23,000 works of art covering diverse historical periods, cultures, and geographic locations. Schedule:
Must be available on first Sunday of each month for Sunday Afternoon Live concert program. Additional shifts will be assigned as events are scheduled. Many event shifts occur between 3:00 & 8:00 pm on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Qualifications:
• Must be a friendly, outgoing & approachable representative of museum while following museum procedure for security and safety of works of art • Fine attention to detail, professionalism, dependability, and communication skills • Ability to work on a team and independently
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
• Customer service experience preferred but not required • Catering or event experience preferred but not required
Position Summary/Job Duties:
DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: • Help facilitate events to include: gallery talks, lectures, receptions and concerts. • Provide support with event setup, attendance tracking, wayfinding, assisting with hands on activities, greeting patrons, providing directions, and event clean up. • Enforce museum policies to ensure smooth event execution. • Will act as event lead when Event Coordinator is off-site.
Physical Demands:
This work requires light lifting (up to 30 lbs.), bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, twisting, pulling, and reaching
