Schedule:
Varies weekly depending on programming. Most programming occurs in the late afternoon and early evening. Some weekends may be required. Candidate will job shadow current LCPA beginning April 7, 2025 though the end of the academic year. Position will begin again late August.

Qualifications:
Open to a current undergraduate Wisconsin School of Business student and/or former resident of the Business Connect Learning Community. Preference will be given to current or previous experience with Business Connect Learning Community.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities: • Effective writing, communication, and presentation skills • A desire to build positive relationships to empower peers • Attention to detail and creative style of organization • Punctuality, reliable attendance, and flexibility • Aptitude for time-management for managing various projects • Thrives or embraces working in a team environment • Interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work with diverse populations • Driven and motivated to explore leadership development through an inclusive leadership lens Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Strong presentation and facilitation skills or the desire to learn how to become a facilitator • Positive attitude and passion for fostering a positive, welcoming, and inclusive BBA student culture
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Position Summary/Job Duties: • Create content and facilitate four to six workshops for Business Connect residents • Attend events with duties to include set-up, student engagement, taking photos, and clean-up • Manage the mentor program for student participants who opt-in • Design publicity materials using Canva software • Work collaboratively with the Program Manager to promote events including drafting weekly newsletters, posting on Instagram, and logging events and attendance in tracking software • Host weekly drop-in hours for residents’ operations-related questions and assistance • Collect and review student feedback from workshops, training, and events to continuously grow and improve organizational processes • Coordinate with industry professionals, WSB academic staff, and alumni for programming • Represent the WSB and UW Housing at Prospective Student and Admitted Student Days Please include a resume and a cover letter addressing your interest in Business Connect and your experience with Learning Communities.
