Department Overview:

The Center for Research on College-Workforce Transitions' (CCWT) mission is to conduct research and develop evidence-based tools, resources, and programs to promote the career wellness and development of students, with emphasis on those who have been historically marginalized in higher education and the labor market.

Qualifications:

Must be a current University of Wisconsin student.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

*Experience with graphic design software (Canva, Adobe InDesign)
*Experience with WordPress
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Ability to problem-solve

Position Summary/Job Duties:

*Strategize concepts by studying previous campaigns and brainstorming with team members
*Design layout of art and copy while considering arrangement, size, font size and style,
and related aesthetic characteristics
*Design materials and obtain approval from team members
*Create final layouts and prepare items for print or publication
*Balance multiple and ongoing projects at once
*Adhere to appropriate timelines and deadlines for projects
*Create printed and digital materials that include but are not limited to: posters, flyers, brochures, handouts, newsletters, social media art, website elements, infographics, etc.

Physical Demands:

*Close vision: The ability to see clearly for computer work, especially for graphic design purposes.
