Department Overview:

Come join the dedicated and knowledgeable staff of the Research Animal Resources & Compliance Unit! The University of Wisconsin-Madison Research Animal Resources and Compliance Unit (RARC) is multidisciplinary in scope and provides veterinary and operational support to the UW-Madison animal care and use program. The animal program involves all aspects of animal use for research, teaching, and outreach.

Ability to maintain confidential information
Basic Microsoft word and Excel skills
Effective written and oral communication

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong attention to detail and outstanding organization skills
Basic medical terminology knowledge is a bonus!

Position Summary/Job Duties:

The student assistant will provide administrative and data entry support to the Veterinary Staff at RARC. The qualified applicant will be a quick learner, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently and independently.

Physical Demands:

Bend down and twist
Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
