Qualifications:
Undergraduate or graduate students in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Proficient in programming languages, with a focus on Python. Skilled in data collection through APIs or web scraping. Experience in machine learning or data mining is preferred. Familiarity with natural language processing is advantageous. Programming experience with large language models is desirable. Open to learning and applying new techniques and methods.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
A faculty member is seeking to hire a research aide for her research on online platforms. This position requires strong skills in data collection and analysis. Since this research will utilize text data, applicants with natural language learning skills and programming experience with large language models are highly preferred. The hourly pay is negotiable depending on the applicant's skills and experience.
Physical Demands:
Most tasks can be completed remotely, with occasional in-person meetings required by the supervisor.
