Department Overview:

The UW Radiation Calibration Lab provides calibration services for most radiation measurement instrumentation.

Anticipated Start Date:

Jan 27 2025 or ASAP.

Anticipated Hours Per Week:

Minimum: 10 Maximum: 29

Schedule:

Approximately 29 hours per week during the summer/breaks and up to 10 hours per week during spring semester. Mon-Fri negotiable work times between 7:45 am a- 3:30 pm. Student work hours can be flexible to suit any student class time requirement.

$15.00

Qualifications:

The ability to focus on one task at a time, and accurately enter data.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Dependability. Ability to communicate with Medical Physicists verbally, and through e-mail.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Process incoming and outgoing Medical Physics Instrumentation.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift parcels ranging in weight from 5 lb to 30 lbs,
