Department Overview:
The Learning More From Adolescents Online (LMFAO) Research Team seeks to identify ways to promote well-being for adolescents and young adults when using technology and digital media. We are specifically interested in decreasing negative social media activities and amplifying positive social media activities for marginalized adolescents, including sexual and gender minority (SGM) youth. Schedule:
Flexible work schedule to accommodate coursework. Looking for a commitment of between 6 - 10 hours per week. Office is open M-F, some weekend work possible. Hours between 3:30pm - 7pm remote or in-person

Qualifications:
Ability to dedicate at least 6 hours/week Spring and summer commitment required, with opportunity to stay on for more semesters.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Strong attention to detail required Passion for psychology research and interdisciplinary research projects Strong interest in adolescent health and wellbeing Ability to collaborate positively in a team setting Comfortable with calling/texting research and study participants Familiarity with REDCap or reviewing data quality preferred
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Recruitment Team members will contact participants for varying B3 study tasks, including: Determining eligibility Walking through consent with teens aged 13-15 as well as their legal guardian. Enrolling participants Texting to set up times/calls for research tasks Performing quality checks and supporting quality improvement efforts Checking participant record data in REDCap Identifying and fixing errors Informing the team about consistent issues and potential opportunities to improve recruitment and retention efforts. Required to attend monthly and weekly group meetings. All training is provided and most work will be remote, with some opportunities for in-person meetings if desired. This position offers valuable experience collaborating with a research team and working directly with teens. Our research spans multiple disciplines, including child development, public health, gender studies, and digital media, allowing students to gain research experience that is relevant in many fields.

Sitting for extended period in front of a computer screen. Comfortable talking on the phone for extended periods
