Department Overview:

The Undergraduate Program Assistant is responsible for assisting the Associate Dean, Assistant Deans, Administrative Specialist and the Undergraduate Program staff. The individual will assist with Undergraduate Program administrative duties and projects managed and filtered through the Undergraduate Administrative Specialist. As needed, respond to general e-mails and phone calls. The Undergraduate Program encompasses Admissions, Academic Advising, Pre-Business Advising; Career Engagement, Employer Engagement, Pre-College/BEL, Global Programs, Leadership & Engagement, Student Success & Policy, and the Multicultural Center.

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
Highly organized and self-motivated
Willingness to obtain the knowledge of basic design and branding principals and best practices
Willingness to learn and adhere to the brand standards of the Wisconsin School of Business
Punctuality, reliable attendance and flexibility

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Proficiency with Adobe, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Support the Associate Dean, Assistant Deans and Administrative Specialist
Update online communications as requested/needed - i.e. Visix, myBiz, Eloqua
Support Undergraduate Units with administrative tasks and projects as needed
Assist with Committees, i.e. Graduation Committee, Student Supervisor Committee
Respond to e-mails, phone calls, and as needed, walk-in inquiries
Other duties as assigned (i.e. office supply inventory, tchotchke inventory, copy paper inventory, toner inventory, mail (pickup and deliver), incoming deliveries for Undergraduate Program, assign lockers, send year end locker cleanout email, mail correspondences as needed)

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
