Schedule:
The position requires 10-20 hours per week, mainly on weekends, with some availability on weekdays (9am-5pm) during training. A long-term commitment, including availability during summers and breaks, is preferred, with potential for increased summer hours.

Qualifications:
• Undergraduate student currently enrolled at UW-Madison in good academic standing • Willingness to commit at least one year to working in the lab
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
The ideal applicant will be responsible, reliable, and able to work independently post-training. Lab/sterile technique experience and basic solution preparation are preferred but not required. Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping skills are essential. Exceptional performance may lead to higher pay or the chance for an independent research project. Position Summary/Job Duties:
• General lab maintenance, managing disposable stocks, autoclaving • Preparation of cell culture reagents, media, plates • Human stem cell culture and differentiation to cardiac lineages • Maintain lab notebook and documentation of cell culture work
Physical Demands:
Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 lbs and frequently perform repetitive motions (e.g., pipetting).
