Department Overview:
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health promotes and enhances the health of children through outstanding clinical care, exemplary education of pediatric trainees, performance of cutting-edge research, and vigorous advocacy. It is the academic home to more than 200 faculty members across 16 subspecialty divisions.

Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and on a team. - Willing to take initiative to learn new skills and abilities. - Ability to work and to remain focused in a remote environment. - Customer service-oriented attitude
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
- Knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Interest and skills in accounting, finance, or mathematics
Position Summary/Job Duties:
- Assist Post Award Accountants with preparation and processing of financial information related to grant management - Assist with financial transactions related to grant management - Communicate with accountants, department admin staff, faculty, and researchers to process financial transactions and coordinate financial updates - Organize our electronic grants filing system according to a consistent structure and naming convention
