Department Overview:
UW–Madison Division of Extension’s Natural Resources Institute works at the crossroads of communities, natural resources, and agriculture.

Flexible- anytime during business hours (8 AM to 5 PM). Fixed schedule per semester based on your class and personal schedule.

Qualifications:
Employment will require a criminal background check. Student must be enrolled for credit at an educational institution. Student will need to show proof of enrollment before starting.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
• Strong proficiency with MS Excel including use of pivot tables, look ups, and data extraction from other programs. • Detail-oriented, responsible, reliable, possess good writing skills and the ability to work in a team setting. • Interest in sustainability, natural resources, environmental sciences, accounting and/or budgeting is preferred.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
The position involves tasks related to data extraction, data analysis, preparing for budget reviews, and preparation of grant materials. Routine administrative support of fiscal actions such as expense documentation, checking payment status, and entering data. An ideal candidate has experience with budgets through course work and/or practical setting(s).
