Department Overview:

This position is within the WRAP and Brain Biomarkers Lab in the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center at UW-Madison. This position is located in person at the UW Hospital (600 Highland Ave, Madison, WI 53792) and will support the neuroimaging research team with administrative tasks.

Schedule:

Variable hours are available Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm. We will work around class schedules. Candidate must be able to work summers.

Qualifications:

Candidate must be a current and continuing UW-Madison undergraduate student.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Candidates should be detail-oriented, highly organized, and reliable. Candidates should possess good communication skills, collaborate respectfully with team members, and work with a high level of integrity and professionalism. Candidates must be able to work with confidential information. Candidates must be willing to learn new skills through on-the-job training.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

o Adhere to all research protocols, regulations, and lab procedures.
o Complete research data entry.
o Complete quality control checks of research data.
o Create and mail reminder letters for participant visits.
o Obtain clinician signatures on eligibility documents.
o Prepare and organize research folders for study visits.
o Request and obtain parking passes for research participants.
o Interact with team members in a courteous and professional manner.

Physical Demands:

Occasional lifting or carrying of documents and small items. Frequent sitting and use of a keyboard and computer.
