Department Overview:

The Finance, Investment and Banking major is the largest undergraduate major at the Wisconsin School of Business. We are proud to be a department that provides exceptional teaching and research in the field of Finance.

Schedule:

Work schedule: 8-12 hours per week during the school year and an estimated 10-15 hours per week during summer. Note - must be able to work part-time during the summer of 2025, but can be remote. Hours are flexible and can be discussed with supervisor.

Qualifications:

Excellent oral & written communication skills, organized with ability to prioritize, motivated to look for efficiencies and streamline processes, works productively as team member and independently.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Proficient with Excel and Word. Quick learner in systems and technological platforms. High attention to detail. Experience with professional written communication preferred.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Primary responsibilities: Submitting employee travel reimbursements, managing seminar speaker expenses and reimbursements, reconciling purchasing card transactions, writing and designing Finance newsletter, generating process documents, requesting parking permits for guests, general office duties.
