Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
• Critical thinking skills • Strong and effective reading and writing skills • Ability to work independently • Attention to detail • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel) • Interest in human communication and attention • Past research or project-based work experience is preferable, but not required
Position Summary/Job Duties:
The Gernsbacher Lab is seeking one undergraduate Research Assistant to start in the Fall 2025 semester. The position might have the option to extend past the Fall 2025 semester. The Research Assistant will primarily assist with various human communication and attention research projects. Primary tasks may include literature reviews, completing data analyses in Excel, and reviewing manuscripts for APA formatting. Additional tasks may involve file management, communicating progress to members of the research team, and other miscellaneous tasks related to ongoing lab projects.
