Department Overview:

We provide administrative support to medical providers, surgeons, physicians, administration and the education team at UW Hospital and Clinics. If you have an interest in the medical field or other administrative support jobs, this would be a great position to figure out more about the field and what it is like to work in/around a medical office setting.

Qualifications:

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Good time management skills (ability to manage multiple detailed tasks).
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Prior office experience is preferred.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are looking for highly self-motivated, organized, responsible, and reliable employees to carry out any number of routine office tasks, including, but not limited to:
- Data entry
- Sending and distributing faxes
- Operating office copiers and scanners
- Cataloguing files
- Coordinating mail for UW Hospital and Clinics
- Typing up dictations
- Providing assistance in management of education program details (including updating alumni lists, supporting logistics for resident/fellow recruitment, assisting in simple data analysis, creating/maintaining tracking spreadsheets, and assistance with resident/fellow schedule changes)

Physical Demands:

Lift up to 40lbs
