Qualifications:
- First Aid, CPR, AED certification or ability to attain it within first week of employment - Event management experience preferred - Communication, leadership and organizational skills - Ability to balance academic and job responsibilities - Must be able to attend department-wide and program specific trainings - Proficiency in e-mail client and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Access) required

- Excellent communication (Club Athletes, Co-workers, Supervisors) - Organizational skills - Reliable, patient, and dedicated to help sport clubs operate efficiently and successfully.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of assigned sport clubs through collaboration with club leaders, facility operations, and risk management. The role involves providing consistent mentorship and guidance by conducting monthly meetings and maintaining regular follow-up with clubs. Oversight includes key administrative responsibilities such as collecting waivers, managing team rosters and equipment inventory, updating websites, compiling annual reports and budgets, and supporting fundraising and community service initiatives. Additionally, this position helps clubs navigate and utilize the Do Sports Easy platform. An onsite presence is expected at practices, events, and tournaments to provide leadership and ensure adherence to Sport Club and University policies. The role includes active participation in All Officer meetings, club officer trainings, and efforts to represent and promote the Sport Club program at competitions, Rec Well special events, campus involvement opportunities, and professional development experiences. Supporting public relations efforts and fostering community and campus engagement are also important aspects of this position. This role helps facilitate scheduling and facility requests between the Sport Club office and other university departments, while also evaluating the development and recognizing the successes of individual clubs and their advisors. A strong emphasis is placed on the leadership development of student officers through trainings, council meetings, seminars, and one-on-one conversations. The position also maintains detailed records and statistical information related to priority points, injuries, travel, practices, and student development activities. Fostering strong relationships with individual clubs is essential to improving customer service and building trust. The role supports club officers in navigating challenges and making informed decisions, while maintaining confidentiality and privacy when handling sensitive information. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Sport Clubs Programs Assistant Director, Coordinator, or Professional Intern.
