Schedule:
During normal working hours (8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday). Option for flexible timing (e.g., evenings, weekends) once independence is demonstrated. Candidates should be able to work 2+ shifts per week, can put in 3-4 hours per shift.

Qualifications:
Current life sciences undergraduate student.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Successful candidates must be efficient, have excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written), and possess the ability to work independently and as a member of a team (e.g., prioritize tasks, coordinate work with others). In addition, successful candidates will have some previous experience with microbiology laboratory work (e.g., aseptic technique, preparing solutions etc.). Experience with these techniques from laboratory classes is okay. Please describe your degree of experience when you submit your application.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
- Glassware washing and autoclaving general lab materials (e.g. tubes, tips, bacterial growth media) - Autoclaving and disposing of biohazard trash - Operate, clean, and maintain organization of research equipment and research area - Track inventory levels and place replenishment orders - Receiving laboratory orders, breaking down and disposing of empty cardboard boxes - Restocking lab supplies (e.g. tubes, tips, bacterial growth media, paper towels, distilled water).
