Department Overview:

The ADRC Consortium for Clarity in ADRD Research Through Imaging (CLARiTI) at the University of Wisconsin–Madison is a multi-site research initiative dedicated to improving the understanding of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD). As part of the Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology, CLARiTI focuses on strengthening the quality, consistency, and interpretability of imaging and biomarkers data used in dementia research and diagnosis.

The consortium brings together experts in neurology, radiology, psychiatry, biomedical engineering, and data science to refine imaging acquisition, processing, and analytic methods. By advancing standardized approaches across research sites, CLARiTI aims to enhance reproducibility, support earlier and more accurate disease characterization, and improve the overall rigor of ADRD research.

Qualifications:

- Undergraduate student at UW-Madison
- Ability to work at least 8 hours/week
- Ability to work during regular business hours Mon - Fri

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Required:
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail; reliable; quick learner
Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:
Experience with clinical research operations
Experience with REDCap
Experience with data entry/quality assurance
Experience with regulatory binder/ebinder (Florence)

Position Summary/Job Duties:

- Assist with organization and maintenance of study documents (REDCap, Florence, Study Handbook, SOPs, etc.)
- Assist with internal meetings (data reports, presentations, webinars)
- Assist with managing site access to study documents
- Assist with data quality assurance/data queries
- Assist with administrative/operational support as needed
- Assist with tracking site documents (REDCap, Florence, training logs, inventory reports, etc.)
