Schedule:
Hours scheduled between the hours of 8:30 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday with some evenings/weekend commitments, flexible scheduling. Regular one-on-one with your supervisor and the Faculty Director.

Qualifications:
Student Status, you are required to be directly enrolled in a course. Experience as an administrative assistant or related position Employment will require UW-Madison to verify your identity and employment eligibility. Desire to learn about Morgridge Center programs and services Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Evident reliability, punctuality and dependability Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Admirable problem solving and time management skills Being able to multitask and manage interruptions to your work Understanding of professional email etiquette when representing the Faculty Director and the Morgridge Center English proficiency Ability to make a commitment of at least one academic year Demonstrates a commitment to the values of equity and responsible community engagement
Position Summary/Job Duties:
1. Provide Administrative Support to Morgridge Center Directors ● Provide administrative support for Morgridge Center Faculty and Administrative Directors ● Provide logistical support for MCPS staff meetings, professional development, Board of Advisors meetings, hosted meetings as well as Center events ● Provide scheduling services for the Morgridge Center Faculty Director ● Work on special projects as assigned 2. Administrative Support ● Create PowerPoint and other presentations ● Update and manage forms, databases, spreadsheets ● Manage calendars, make room reservations, and take care of logistical needs (food ordering, meeting/event preparation) ● Respond to requests on behalf of the directors originating from multiple sources 3. Collaborate with colleagues on Morgridge Center projects ● Each intern will work on a variety of projects in collaboration with the directors and potentially other staff; this could include projects related to communications, human resources, event planning, programming, etc. ● Potentially serve on long-term Morgridge Center teams and committees 4. Other Duties as Assigned
