Department Overview:
The Wisconsin School of Business Multicultural Center is dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment where students can thrive. Schedule:
8/24/2026 training week begins. 9/2/2026 projects/front desk hours begin. All work will be conducted on-site with scheduled hours including front desk shifts and designated office hours for project-based tasks, and evening hours for events.

Qualifications:
-Have and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 -Excellent communication and customer service skills -Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management -Ability to work in a flexible work environment
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
-Interest and knowledge in inclusion initiatives -Excellent time management skills -Strong public speaking and presentation skills -Understand event planning and assessment processes -Ability to engage effectively with others in a professional and approachable manner -Proven ability to prioritize tasks efficiently -Ability to think creatively and contribute new ideas for programs, events, and student engagement initiatives.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
-Create large and small-scale programs -Assist in the development of a programming calendar for the center -Provide planning and execution for events, such as ordering catering, managing food delivery and set-up -Provide ideas for programs that would meet the needs of various multicultural students -Research national and international cultural holidays -Assist team members with execution of marketing materials and project completion
Physical Demands:
You will be asked to wipe down tables and move furniture around for event reservations or other needs.
