Department Overview:

CCWT conducts and supports research and program development to generate evidence, educational programs, tools, and resources that promote the career development and wellness of students as they transition to the workforce. In this work we center and amplify the voices and interests of all students, including those historically marginalized in higher education and the labor market, with the aim of activating institutional and societal change.

Qualifications:

*Current undergraduate student at UW-Madison
*Availability for fall 2026 semester
*Access to and proficiency using personal computer/device with necessary specifications to accomplish job duties
*Familiarity with literature reviews, data entry, data analysis

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

*Excellent organization skills
*Ability to do thorough research
*Attention to detail
*Ability to work independently
*Ability to use creative problem-solving skills
*Self-starter who can work alone but also works well when collaborating with others

Position Summary/Job Duties:

*Perform quantitative and qualitative research activities, that may include participant recruitment, data collection, literature reviews, data analysis, and conducting interviews
*Organize and manage data, including coding, analyzing, and summarizing information
*Assist with development of project publications, presentations, and other materials
*Attend and contribute to project meetings, as needed
*Participate and contribute to Intern Professional Development Activities, as directed
*Additional tasks as required

Physical Demands:

*Entering text or data into a computer or other machine by means of a traditional keyboard.
*Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others accurately, loudly, or quickly.
*Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers.
