Qualifications:

UW-Madison student based in the U.S. during the 2026–27 academic year. (Students studying abroad during AY 2026–27 are not eligible to apply.) — Priority given to students enrolled in (or planning to declare) the International Business Certificate

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

— Apple laptop with Office for Mac and Keynote (or willingness to work in that environment) — Comfortable using campus AI tools as part of normal workflow; knowledge of PKMS a plus — Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; strong command of grammar

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Responsibilities
> — Help bring energy and continuity to the International Business Certificate community by coordinating experiential learning activities — company visits, alumni speaker events, panels, and small receptions. Manage RSVPs, logistics, room setup, follow-up notes, and the occasional thank-you draft.
> — Maintain the International Business LinkedIn presence and student newsletter; advertise events and student opportunities, draft alumni profiles, track engagement — Draft and edit short communications — alumni and partner emails, event copy, briefing notes, and similar — to a high standard of clarity and tone — Create or re-create slides, handouts, and other materials for internal and external audiences with an eye for design, brand fit, and consistency — Support research on international engagement and help organize what surfaces so it is not lost — Other occasional related duties
