Department Overview:
SuccessWorks at the College of Letters & Science is responsible for providing career advising and internship/job search assistance to the approximately 18,000 undergraduate students within the College of Letters & Science. Among our many services, we offer career and internship advising, programming and events, undergraduate career courses, and growing connections to UW’s vast alumni network and employers.

Schedule:
Weekly schedules occur during standard work hours (Mondays - Fridays between (10:00 am and 4:00 pm). Hours are flexible to accommodate a student’s schedule as needed. The intern may also be required to assist with some student programming or events outside of normal business hours.

Qualifications:
-Undergraduate student (preferably L&S but that isn't a requirement) -Enthusiasm for contributing to a team that is passionate about serving students in their career development -Able to commit to a regular weekly schedule (with some flexibility to accommodate class needs)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
-Comfort and confidence speaking, presenting, and facilitating in front of large groups of students and staff. -Able to manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail, and work independently or collaboratively to enhance events. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Microsoft Teams, and Canvas -Possess excellent written and oral communication skills -Willingness to learn new processes and systems, ask questions, and seek solutions. -Shows initiative and proactively identifies and acts on opportunities to improve SuccessWorks programs and services. -Research and critical thinking skills. -Demonstrates commitment to diversity and creating inclusive learning opportunities. -Previous experience using LinkedIn Learning is advantageous.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
-Deliver and support classroom presentations and facilitation -Assist in curriculum design and activity development (career-focused assignments, teaching materials) -Support syllabus review and skill mapping (including refining AI-generated drafts) -Help train full-time staff and graduate student staff on presentation tools and classroom delivery (e.g., slide content and workshop facilitation) -Contribute to faculty and partner engagement efforts tied to classroom integration (e.g., High Impact Practices Consortium) -Support Canvas management (course updates, announcements, enrollments) -Assist with evaluation tools and assessment alignment (e.g., adapting Qualtrics surveys to NACE career competencies)
