Department Overview:

 Dog Haus University is a dog daycare conveniently located less than 15 minutes (walking) from campus, at 502 S Park St. We may also have positions open at our other locations (825 E Johnson St and 1422 MacArthur Rd).

Schedule:

 We offer flexible work schedules around your classes. Our business hours are 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday. We prefer candidates who can commit to at least two 4-hour shifts each week.

 Minimum: $13.00 Maximum: $14.00

 - Passion for animal care and providing fun activities for dogs
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Attentive, observant, and detail-oriented

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Duties include:
- Cleaning/sanitizing play areas, common areas, and crates
- Using verbal cues, body blocking, and proactive intervention to manage dog interactions
- Leading, monitoring, and managing groups of dogs
- Spending time interacting with each dog individually and knowing their limits, play styles, and help signals
- Recording and reporting accurate info on the health, activities, and behavior of each dog to the Manager/Assistant Managers
- Washing dishes and laundry
- Assisting with handling dogs at check-in and check-out
- Storing and providing guests’ food and medications

Physical Demands:

- Physically able to secure and handle large dogs
- Physically able to handle cleaning and minor maintenance
