Schedule:

 Tutors will be on site 1-3 days per week. Schedules will be created based on tutor availability and fall within Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Salary/Wage Range/Lump Sum:

 Minimum: $16.00 per hour

Qualifications:

 Student Status, you are required to be directly enrolled in a course.
Work Study Eligible students only.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

The Badger Volunteers Educate Tutor works as part of the BV Educate Team to support a designated MMSD school site (elementary or high school) through tutoring in literacy or math. This role works closely with the Lead Tutor, school staff, and BVED team.

Responsibilities include tutoring and mentoring, communicating and collaborating with MMSD site staff and BVED Staff. Passion for and experience with education, tutoring and mentoring, youth work, and community engagement is highly valuable in this position. Applicants should be highly organized and display strong oral and written communication abilities. Awarded applicants must be available for monthly trainings throughout the academic year.

Tutoring/mentoring: expected to be on site 1-3 times a week.
