Qualifications:
|
Must be reliable, dependable, committed, self-motivated, ambitious, a good communicator, flexible, and have a strong work ethic. Also have a sense of pride knowing your supportive role ensures our clients can get their drug therapy products into patients as quickly and safely as possible. |

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
|
Highly preferred 1+ years of high school or college level chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, cell biology, molecular biology, or related field.

Position Summary/Job Duties:
|
Applicant's primary responsibility will be to assist the Manufacturing and/or Facilities staff in the general cleaning, upkeep, and maintenance of the cleanroom laboratories according to FDA's current Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines (cGMP). Duties will include the following: preparation of cleaning solutions, accurate and complete documentation, cleaning the facility and laboratory equipment, operation of a pass-through autoclave, and stocking of cleaning materials. Other duties can be assigned as needed to fill the student's available time. Training will be provided (e.g., SOPs, shadowing, etc.). This position is a resume-building position for any student actively pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry or medical field.

Physical Demands:
|
Light duty physical activity performed with level 1 gowning requirements (e.g., scrubs, Tyvek lab coat, hair/beard net, face mask, safety glasses/goggles, cleanroom shoes, and nitrile gloves).
