Qualifications:

Applicant must be a current UW-Madison student or enrolled in another institution for academic credit and they must provide proof of enrollment upon employment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Previous rodent handling and anesthesia experience is beneficial, but we are willing to train motivated applicants as needed.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Duties will include assisting with weekly ocular health checks and treatments as well as general colony management and monitoring for our rodent colonies. Attention to detail, excellent record-keeping, self-motivation, and dependability are a must. Work schedule will be flexible with academic needs and other commitments provided advance notice is given, but adherence to a set schedule is a must.
