Department Overview:

Anticipated Hours Per Week

4 to 20

Schedule:

Multiple shifts are available.

Weekdays and weekends during SUMMER BREAK

  • 6:30-9:30 am (flexible end time and can be extended if you would like more hours) or earlier if desired:)
  • 11 am-1 pm (flexible swim time at the health club)
  • 7:00-9:30 pm Cupcake shift

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $15.75 to $18.93

Position Summary/Job Duties:

This healthcare position which has the potential to begin during summer. Shifts available focusing on providing care for a professional woman with a disability so that she can continue to work in the Madison community as a teacher. A unique feature of this position is that applicants have the opportunity to work with a team of intelligent and devoted university women working from multiple discourses such as health care, law, physical therapy, etc. This strong and joyful team of women works to support not just the woman they care for but one another as well. 

Qualifications:

  • Must be timely and able to keep pace. This job is medium-paced but that makes the time fly by.
  • Patient, kind, and work from an ethics of care.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand pivot.
  • Applicants must be willing to work respectfully as a team player with other care providers who are a joy to know (shifts are solo except for training) :)
