Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
Assist patients
· Check patients in for appointments, verify demographic and insurance information, update registration/medical forms as needed
· Check patients out after appointments, collect copayments, sell products, discuss payment policies, schedule treatment, schedule next hygiene recall
Handle all types of incoming and outgoing phone calls
· Schedule appointments
· Make outbound calls to patients, vendors, and/or other clinics to coordinate patient care
Schedule all types of appointments
· Routine recall appointments
· Treatment plans
· Emergencies
· New Patients
Maintain patient records/documentation
· Make detailed notes when discussing payment arrangements, patient concerns, etc.
· Process all types of incoming and outgoing correspondence via email, fax, and mail
Job Type: Full-time or part-time
