Position Overview:

As a Pesticide Applicator at Barnes, Inc., you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and vitality of our clients' landscapes. This position offers an exciting opportunity for candidates who enjoy working outdoors, have a strong work ethic, and share our dedication to preserving the natural world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and accurately apply pesticides and herbicides to control pests, weeds, and diseases.
  • Monitor and assess landscape conditions, identifying potential issues and recommending appropriate treatments.
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure accurate application.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to protect yourself and the environment.
  • Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to achieve our clients' landscaping goals.
  • Keep accurate records of pesticide applications and report findings to supervisors.
  • May also perform lawn aerations and other various duties.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Valid pesticide applicator's license or certification (Willing to train if you do not have one).
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Knowledge of pesticide application techniques and safety protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated and responsible with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly is required.
  • Experience in landscaping or horticulture is a plus.
