Department Overview:

DoubleTree by Hilton Madison Downtown is a two-time Connie Award winning hotel where we pride ourselves on our strong team work and Make It Right mentalities. Our hotel is conveniently located on the University of Wisconsin campus with an excellent proximity to the Kohl Center, shops and restaurants, and the iconic capitol square. We accommodate Guests who are in town for work, play, and relaxation- so whether they are going to a conference, a concert, or a delicious date night meal, we are committed to ensure that each Guest feels welcomed, valued, and that their stay is a top priority to us. 

DoubleTree by Hilton Madison Downtown is a 164 room property with a state of the art fitness center and ample on-site parking. A complimentary shuttle is provided to Guests daily from 7:00 AM-10:00 PM and our on property restaurant, Bistro525 is a delicious and convenient stop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Schedule:

Shifts are scheduled between 3:00 PM-11:00 PM Monday- Friday and  and 7:00 AM-11:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Team Members typically work two shifts or 16 hours per week, but there is availability for more hours. Availability for at least 1 weekend shift is required.

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $16.00 to $16.00

Job Duties & Responsibilities of a Front Desk Agent:

  • Make reservations, check guests in and out of the hotel, and provide outstanding customer service
  • Assist guests with directions, supplies, services, and all other inquiries
  • Meet and exceed guest expectations by providing local recommendations, and ensuring 100% satisfaction
  • Help to resolve guest issues in an pleasant and timely manner
