Student Jobs

This is an intermittent short-term job as needed on weekends or for a week long trip 5 day trip. However, if the student is available in the 2024-25 school year for occasional trips the arrangement could continue. Kirby and Simon can be left alone for 5-6 hours if the caregiver has another job. If caregiver needs to be gone for a longer shift, I have 2 neighbors that can take Kirby out for a walk.  

I am looking for an individual who is interested in part-time work on an as needed basis to provide pet services for a 14 year-old still youthful miniature poodle (Kirby) and a cuddly old orange tabby kitten (Simon) will be 1 year old on May 15. The 2 pets get along very well. It would work best to do in-home care for them. I live in a safe neighborhood in Monona, making it an easy trip to and from the campus area. I would like to take a short, 2-3day trip and a week-long trip this summer. Caregiver can be gone for 5-6 hours for other jobs/classes.  Pay rate is negotiable. I have a fenced yard for the dog. Kirby is accustomed to 2 longer walks/day of 1/4-1/2 mile and one short walk a few blocks in length and/or using fenced area. Simon needs to be fed and have litter boxes cleaned. Both pets eat 2x/day.  Kirby had surgery 2 years ago for 2 back leg luxating patellas and benefits from being carried on and off furniture. He remains very active. Person needs to enjoy taking care of pets (dog and cat) and have some experience as a pet owner or caregiver.
