Position Summary/Job Duties:
Fun, outgoing wheelchair-user on Madison's far west side needs assistance with errand-type activities. Duties include assistance with shopping, going to doctor appointments, light housekeeping (laundry, bed making, vacuuming, cleaning, etc.), some outdoor gardening-type activities (seasonal), and basically anything I'm unable to do for myself. I have my own van with a lift for outings so applicant must have valid driver's license and clean driving record. Car needed to get to my house as I am not on a bus line.
A very rewarding position that makes a difference, helping me to remain independent in my life, in & out of my home. If you enjoy helping others, then this job may be for you! No personal cares although, I am advertising for that type of work as well.
This position is great experience for anyone interested in a career in medical field - nurse, PA, doctor, occupational therapy, physical therapy, rehab psych, etc. but not limited to those areas of interest.
I can be flexible with class schedules or other commitments.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Be able to pass a background check.
