Looking for 3-5 hr shifts every or every other weekend: morning or afternoon (eg, 9-noon or 1-4). Some date nights. Very flexible!

Hourly $15.00 to $19.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Looking for a part-time Respite provider for our sweet, funny, bright 9-yo with Autism, Developmental Delays, ADD, Seizure Disorder (controlled) in Middleton. Ideal match will meet the requirements below.

  • Experience caring for children with Autism
  • Patience
  • Ability to "redirect" child
  • Strong engagement skills; Excels at creative play. Outgoing!
  • Willing to take child out in community (eg, park, short hikes, library, adaptive bike ride, etc)
  • Students in education, special education, child psych, PT/OT/speech/recreation therapy, social work encouraged!
  • References required

Respite provider position. Can be hired through UCP or Fiscal Assistance. Very flexible. Looking for 3-5 hr shifts every OR every other weekend. Some date nights. Very flexible. Must like dogs (super friendly).

Qualifications:

  • CPR certified (or willing to be)
  • Experience caring for children with Autism
  • Patience
  • Ability to "redirect" child
  • Strong engagement skills; Excels at creative play. Outgoing!
  • Willing to take child out in community (eg, park, short hikes, library, etc)
