3pm-11pm Sundays and varying nights throughout the week. Saturdays on an as needed basis. The Bell Services department operates from 7am-11pm, daily.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

The Madison Concourse Hotel has an opening on our Bell Services team! As a Bell Person, you are responsible for providing the highest levels of customer service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have evening availability (3-11p) on Sundays and varying nights throughout the week; Saturdays on an as-needed basis. Wage: Base + tips, average wage $15-$19/hr., with a guarantee of $15/hr. up to $16.50/hr (with CDL).

Main Duties:

  • Guest Transportation: Shuttle guests to popular downtown destinations, providing recommendations and insider tips along the way.
  • Luggage Assistance: Assist guests with their luggage, loading and unloading, ensuring it is safely transported to their guest room. Our bell team is also responsible for properly tagging and storing guest luggage in the secure bell closet. 
  • Warm Welcome:  Maintain a presence in the lobby; greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, making them feel valued and appreciated from the moment they arrive. 
  • Knowledge Sharing: Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, directions to local attractions, and recommending events to enhance their stay. 
  • Safety First: Ensure the safety and comfort of guests during transportation and luggage handling, adhering to all safety protocols. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • CDL is strongly preferred, but not required to be successful in this position. 
  • Qualified applicants must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test, background check and Motor Vehicle Reference check. The Madison Concourse Hotel is a drug free workplace.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and talk or hear. Heavy lifting, pushing/pulling carts and sitting/standing for extended periods of time.
