5:30 to 8:30 am during the mornings, except Monday which is 5:30 to 9:30 pm.

Hello my name is Luis, I am 16 years old and I am currently in high school. I have a condition called muscular dystrophy and I am looking for someone to help me in the morning to get ready for school.

I have limited mobility and this means that I will need help getting out of bed, putting on deodorant, putting on my shirt and sweatshirt, my shoes, helping me wash my face and warming up my breakfast in order to make sure I get to my bus on time.

Some days I might need assistance bathing, or some physical therapy exercises.

I use an electric lift, a wheelchair and other devices to help me get around.

I enjoy video games, movies and going outside with my electric chair. I would enjoy a caregiver that has similar interests.

The schedule is from 5:30 to 8:30 am during the mornings, except Monday which is 5:30 to 9:30 pm.

Please contact me if you can make a commitment to 3-5 mornings or 16 hours per week.

If mornings do not work for you, I also require assistance in the afternoon after school (20 hours minimum).

Hourly rate is $18 per hour

Ability to perform some tasks requiring moderate physical effort, for example moving body parts to put mechanical lift in place. Males are preferred due to the nature of the work assisting with self care. Prefer a caregiver that enjoys engaging in activities and going outside of the house.
