Position Summary/Job Duties:
I am seeking a part time nanny (12 hours/week) for my infant son. I am looking for someone who can start December 2024 and work through March 2025. I live on the near west side not far from campus in the Westmorland neighborhood. I am a single mom who works from home. My plan is to use the time you are with my son to do some work at home, run errands, complete a few tasks around the house and hopefully take a few Pilates classes. I would prefer someone who could come MWF 8am-12pm or 9am-1pm, but I have flexibility with days/times.
I am looking for someone who has childcare experience with infants. My son will be 5 months old in December and I am seeking someone who knows age-appropriate ways to play and keep him engaged, knows infant sleep and hunger cues, and is willing to learn his patterns and routines to keep care consistent with what I am doing.
I’d prefer a graduate level student, someone toward the end of their undergraduate student career, or someone with extensive infant experience. I’d prefer someone with their own vehicle and someone who is CPR certified.
Other duties will include washing baby bottles, folding clean baby clothes and occasionally doing some baby laundry.
