Position Summary/Job Duties:

Waunakee Community High School seeks a dedicated and experienced Head Boys Varsity Tennis Coach to lead its boys' tennis program. This role is responsible for coaching and developing high school athletes, fostering teamwork, and promoting sportsmanship within the tennis program. The coach will plan and execute effective practices, develop game strategies, and provide individualized feedback to help players improve their skills and performance. Additionally, the coach is expected to oversee team management, communicate with parents and school administration, and ensure the program aligns with Waunakee Community School District’s standards for student-athlete development.

Qualifications:

- Previous coaching experience in girls' tennis at the club or high school level.
- Strong knowledge of volleyball rules, techniques, and strategies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire players to reach their full potential.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Current certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
- Availability to attend practices, games, and tournaments on evenings and weekends.
