Our family is looking for a summer nanny for three older children in Waunakee. We have three smart, sweet and energetic boys (10,12,14) with lots of curiosity, magic tricks and random factoids who will work hard to earn a laugh. We need a responsible caregiver who can help ensure they stay safe, keep the peace between brothers and help with transportation and activities over the summer.  Get them outside!!  The boys are pretty independent and simply need someone who can reinforce the family rules and redirect them away from screens and general shenanigans. We have a pool, so strong swimming skills and knowledge of water safety is a requirement.  You must have reliable transportation to Waunakee; family vehicle is available to transport children to activities. Help with keeping the common areas tidy and assistance with the laundry is a must.

We are flexible on start and end times and also ask for some flexibility depending on the demands of the work week and any scheduled activities. Generally, we are seeking Monday to Friday 10:00 to 4:00.  

Pay is 18-24/hr depending on experience.

• Basic knowledge of CPR and First Aid.
• Strong swimming skills and water safety.
• Knowledge of child development issues, such as age appropriate activities and nutrition. 
• Basic reading, writing and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions. 
• Ability to be active with the children (i.e., standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, climbing stairs and swimming). 
• Knowledge of operating home electronics and kitchen appliances. 
• Safe driving skills and maintenance of a valid driver’s license.
