Position Summary/Job Duties:
Join our team as a Suite Attendant and deliver exceptional service to premium suite holders at UW-Madison sporting events. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up, serving, and maintaining the suites to ensure a top-tier experience for our VIP guests. If you have a passion for hospitality and excellent customer service, we want you on our team! Anticipated start date of May 1st.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring guests receive friendly and courteous service at all times.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the menu and available products to assist guests effectively.
Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
Arrange buffet tables and set up food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
Assemble and deliver all food, beverages, and supplies to their scheduled locations within the suites.
Monitor food temperatures and maintain safety standards throughout the event.
Thoroughly clean and organize the suite area after events to ensure everything is left neat and tidy.
Return leftover food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility in a timely manner.
Stock, clean, and maintain assigned suites, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Follow safety and sanitation procedures to meet health standards.
Perform other duties as required to ensure successful event operations.
Qualifications:
Team player with a positive, friendly attitude and strong interpersonal communication skills.
1+ years of serving experience is required.
Ability to remain professional with high-profile guests, including donors, alumni, and former athletes.
Availability to work all UW-Madison Football games and a majority of events at the Kohl Center during the 2025-2026 season.
ServSafe Food Handler Certification & Alcohol Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to stand and walk for long hours in a high-energy environment.
