Position Summary/Job Duties:
We are a family (UW Madison Medicine faculty) in Waunakee looking for a responsible, engaging, and caring summer sitter for our 13-year-old son. This position would start as a summer job but has the potential to turn into a long-term opportunity if it’s a good fit for everyone.
About the Position:
Location: Waunakee, WI
Hours: Flexible daytime hours during the week (exact schedule can be discussed)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Through summer break, with the possibility of continuing into the school year for after-school care
About Our Son:
13 years old – friendly, independent, and full of curiosity
Enjoys outdoor activities (bicycle, basketball, soccer), video games, creative projects, and spending time with someone fun and kind. also enjoys playing guitar
Looking for a sitter who can keep him engaged, encourage a bit of structure, and be a positive presence
Ideal Candidate:
Experience with pre-teens or teens
Reliable, patient, and good communicator
Has transportation to/from our home
Open to light meal prep, activity planning, or occasional local outing
