Job Description/Primary Duties:

Do you love pastries, great bread and coffee? Do you love chatting it up with great customers and making people’s day? Do people call you a hard worker, a team player, and super self motivated? 

We are looking for a few great people to add to our awesome front of house team. We ask that you have a commitment of at least 9 months and can work at least one Saturday or Sunday shift/week. Minimum 3 shifts/week, noting we are closed on Mondays.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Greets all customers warmly
• Answers customer questions in person, over the phone, or via text
• Makes strong connections with customers to ensure they have a positive experience
• Packages bakery items and works efficiently to help customers
• Crafts coffee drinks
• Keeps bakery case, deli, cooler, and retail space well stocked and organized
• Ensures cleanliness and organization of front of house and contributes time in the dish pit
• Any other duties as assigned

Competencies:

This person must be self-motivated, kind, hardworking, organized, able to multitask, and have a good attention to detail. Great interpersonal skills and communication with coworkers, management, and customers is needed. Friendly and able to work in a fast paced environment. Able to receive constructive criticism feedback on a daily basis, and willing to ask questions to meet Bloom’s standards.

Education and Experience:

• 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service experience is preferred, but we will train the right applicant!
• Legally able to work in the U.S.

Physical Requirements:

• Regular and predictable attendance
• Ability to stand on feet for entirety of shift
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
