Department Overview:

Availability weekdays and maybe weekends in the afternoons. 2 pm - 5pm
Minimum Hour Expectations - 12 hours per weeek, at least 3 hours per day

Position Summary/Job Duties:
Clean, sanitize and put away dinnerware and equipment used during each shift
Cleaning of kitchen and general areas
Assisting with food service as needed
Production and packaging of deli items
Organize food orders into their proper locations
Maintain clean storage areas and coolers
Assist with restaurant and catering food preparation
E.g. Making soups, dressings and slicing foods
Use various cooking and knife techniques
No prior experience needed
Qualifications:
Positive attitude and a team player
Show attention to detail
Willingness to learn cooking techniques and knife skills
Enjoys food, cooking or interested in learning
Flexibility and dependability
Student Status
To be eligible for the Wisconsin Union positions, you must be currently enrolled in a college, university, or highschool (at least 16). It is not permissible to hire a person as a student hourly employee if they are taking credits merely to be eligible for student hourly employment. Review UW Policy 5003- Student Hourly Employment for more information. If school is in break period (summer, spring, winter), applicants must intend to enroll in courses the following semester.
