Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are currently seeking passionate and reliable swim instructors who are either current students or professionals in Physical Therapy (PT) and/or Occupational Therapy (OT). This is a rewarding opportunity to apply your knowledge in a hands-on, meaningful way while gaining valuable experience working with children in a therapeutic aquatic setting.

Job Description

  • One-on-one swim lessons with various students who are disabled or have special needs. 
  • Foster a safe and encouraging environment for all students to be able to learn and grow in their swimming abilities. 
  • Using therapeutic principles to help children learn critical swim skills. This type of therapy helps create confidence in the water while also using the water's buoyancy and properties to help build endurance, strength, and coordination.

  • We will provide life guard training. 
  • We will provide a flexible schedule that works for you.

Qualifications:

  • Enthusiasm for working with children and passionate about teaching them critical skills. 
  • Needs to know how to swim.
  • Either a current PT/OT student or practicing professional
