Skinmetal is pioneering a new category in skin cancer prevention by creating the first premium skincare, fragrance, and athletic clothing brand designed to protect the next generation and transform how young men approach their skin health and time outside for a lifetime. Founded by Dr. Wendy Sue Swanson, MD, MBE – a pediatrician, mom, & melanoma survivor – our mission is to transform sun protection and daily protection from an overlooked chore into an empowered choice.

Position Summary/Job Duties:
Location: Madison, WI (Northeast Madison - about 6 min from campus).

Compensation: $20 an hour
About the Role:
Do you want to be part of launching a hot new business from a basement in Madison…literally? We’re looking for motivated, detail-oriented college students to help with packaging and fulfillment a few times per week. You’ll work closely with the Skinmetal founder and team to prepare shipments, organize materials, and support daily startup operations. You’ll also have the chance to contribute ideas, take ownership of projects, and play a real role in shaping the growth of the company in weekly All Hands meetings with our all-star team of national leaders and executives and physicians advising the company. This role is perfect for someone who wants hands-on experience inside an early-stage brand — learning what it takes to build, package, and launch a product from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
Print, package, and label Skinmetal products and influencer kits
Assist with inventory management and shipping logistics
Help organize packaging materials, merch, and product storage
Support special projects during launch periods or events
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation to workplace in Northeast Madison - about 6 min from campus
Flexible availability (a few days per week; schedule can vary but ultimately need 6 days/week between 2-3 interns)
Reliable, organized, honest, and detail-oriented
Interest in marketing, business, entrepreneurship, healthcare, or startups is a plus
