Student Jobs

Background information: My husband and I are both UW alumni. Husand is an attorney and I work at the UW School of Education. I am a former secondary teacher. We lived in Chicago for a few years but recently moved back to Middleton. Our son is very curious and active. He loves to explore the neighborhood and dig in the dirt and sand. He is currently obsessed with dinosaurs, rocks, sticks, and the zoo. We treat babysitters like they are an extention of our family. You are welcome to eat our food at our house and treat it as your home. We live very close to Tiedman Pond Nature Preserve. I do not require a car, we live close to a bus stop. When I am able, I can to drop off or pick up near campus to help cut down on commute times. 

Hours/Scheduling: We are looking for you to work at least every Monday, about noon to 4PM. We can be flexible with when you need off either for school or vacations to go home, as long as you communicate! 

Looking for a patient, active, and kind part-time weekend babysitter for my energetic 4 year old son. My son has autism and requires some extra patience and willingness to meet him where he is at. He has been in ABA therapy for almost 2 years and has made enormous progress. We need someone that can work every Monday afternoon from about noon-4PM. Our son does best when he sees his care-givers consistently, so we really want to hire a student that can commit to helping our family until at least May. 

We live in Middleton right by Stricker Pond, very close to Elm Lawn Elemetary School. I work partially from home so I can be here to help out and be of assistance. Pay is $20 a hour.

Must be a UW student or a recent graduate

Must be kind, patient, and reliable
